As one of Tanzania’s top tour companies, we specialize in luxury excursions, Kilimanjaro hikes, and custom safaris that showcase the hidden gems of this magnificent country. By booking with us, you agree to comply with the following terms and conditions.
2. Booking and Reservations
All bookings must be made through the official Tanzania Unwrapped website or an authorized partner.
A booking is confirmed once the deposit (typically 20-30%) is received and you have received a confirmation email.
The balance of the total booking amount is due at least 30 days prior to departure unless otherwise specified.
For bookings made within 30 days of departure, the full amount must be paid at the time of booking.
Any changes to your booking request must be communicated to and agreed upon by both parties. Additional charges may apply.
3. Payments
All payments should be made in the currency specified on the invoice.
Payment methods accepted include bank transfers, credit/debit card payments, and other methods agreed upon during the booking process.
Should payments not be received within the stipulated time frame, Tanzania Unwrapped reserves the right to cancel the booking.
4. Cancellations and Refunds
Cancellations must be made in writing to Tanzania Unwrapped. Cancellation fees are as follows:
More than 30 days before departure: 30% of the total booking cost
15-29 days before departure: 50% of the total booking cost
14 days or fewer before departure: 100% of the total booking cost
Non-arrival or failure to join the tour will result in no refund.
Tanzania Unwrapped reserves the right to cancel tours in cases of unforeseen circumstances such as extreme weather conditions, government intervention, or other factors outside our control. In such cases, a full refund or alternative arrangements will be offered.
5. Custom Itineraries
Tanzania Unwrapped specializes in custom itineraries designed to fit your specific travel goals. Whether it’s trekking Mount Kilimanjaro, exploring the Great Migration in Serengeti, or relaxing by the pristine beaches of Zanzibar, we’ll craft an experience tailored to your preferences.
Any special requests or adjustments to the itinerary must be communicated prior to booking to ensure feasibility and availability.
6. Travel Insurance
We strongly recommend that all clients purchase comprehensive travel insurance that covers trip cancellations, medical emergencies, evacuation, and loss or theft of personal belongings.
Tanzania Unwrapped is not responsible for any injuries, losses, or other unforeseen events that may occur during your trip.
7. Health and Safety
All clients must disclose any pre-existing medical conditions that may affect their ability to participate in the activities planned.
It is the traveler’s responsibility to ensure they meet the health and vaccination requirements to enter Tanzania.
Clients are expected to follow the guidance of local guides and adhere to safety protocols at all times.
8. Liability and Responsibilities
Tanzania Unwrapped is not liable for any injuries, illnesses, or losses sustained during the tour, except where such incidents arise due to our negligence.
Tanzania Unwrapped is not responsible for any damages, delays, or additional expenses caused by force majeure events, such as natural disasters, political unrest, or accidents.
9. Travel Documents
It is the responsibility of each traveler to ensure they have the correct travel documentation, including a valid passport, visa, and any necessary vaccinations before entering Tanzania.
Tanzania Unwrapped will not be held responsible for any issues arising from incorrect or incomplete travel documents.
10. Code of Conduct
Clients are expected to adhere to local customs and laws while traveling in Tanzania. Disruptive behavior or failure to comply with the tour’s rules can result in immediate removal from the tour, with no refund issued.
We encourage respectful and responsible interaction with local communities, wildlife, and the environment.
11. Sustainability and Responsible Travel
Tanzania Unwrapped is committed to sustainability and promoting responsible tourism practices. We ensure that our operations align with eco-friendly principles and that the communities we work with benefit from tourism in a positive and lasting way.
We ask that our travelers respect nature and local communities, minimizing environmental impact and ensuring the preservation of Tanzania’s natural wonders for future generations.
12. Intellectual Property
All content, including text, photos, logos, and trademarks, on Tanzania Unwrapped’s website and marketing materials are the property of Tanzania Unwrapped and are protected by copyright law.
No content may be reproduced, distributed, or used for commercial purposes without express written permission from Tanzania Unwrapped.
13. Privacy and Data Protection
Tanzania Unwrapped values your privacy. Any personal data provided will be used solely to facilitate your booking and ensure a smooth travel experience.
We will not share your information with third parties without your consent, except as required to provide services related to your trip.
14. Governing Law
These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of Tanzania. Any disputes that arise shall be resolved in the jurisdiction of Tanzanian courts.
